Connection to Sewall Wright's work[edit]

The formulas are correct. They were also derived some years earlier by Sewall Wright using his more-obscure method of path coefficients. Malecot's great contribution was to formulate the concept of Identity By Descent which enabled the formulas to be derived more readily. Felsenst (talk) 05:21, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
