Untitled[edit]

Deletion of this page was proposed, with this as the given reason: "Doesn't seem notable. No reliable independent third party references about the society that have been linked to, most references are just back to Society publications. Should be able to get references for such a place, but I can't find them."

I do not understand the claim about "no reliable independent third party references." Please note that the References section includes one article in the San Francisco Appeal to Reason, one in the Mill Valley Record, 2 different articles in the Oakland Tribune, and 2 different articles about The Maltese Falcon Society in the New York Times.

Also note that the Maltese Falcon Society is not a "place," but an organization.
