Untitled[edit]

My name is Diana Garcia, and I am the 2x great granddaughter of Manuel Garcia Jr.

I noticed the sketch of Manuel using a laryngoscope, and the discussion about his invention. My family owns the original mirror and u-shaped scope that Manuel used. It is is framed with a sketch of Manuel done by his sister, Pauline Viardot. There frame also has a wooden label, identifying the display as what I have described above. I wondered if it would be useful if sent you a photo of this to add to the article, as I have a fairly good, clear photograph. I don't think that these items have been seen by others, to date, as they have been in the family's collection. So, I thought it might be of interest to add it to the article on Manuel Garcia Jr. and or to the Laryngoscope article.

Also, the article on Oscar Natzka says Albert Garcia was one of his singing teachers. However, when you click on the link to Albert, it takes you to a modern day baseball player. I have information on and a photo of Albert, if you would like to correct that, as Albert was my grandfather.

Diana Garcia dgarcia2@cogeco.ca (Aerdina (talk) 22:24, 30 May 2011 (UTC)) I would be pleased if people want to contact me about Manuel and the laryngoscope. (Aerdina (talk) 22:24, 30 May 2011 (UTC))[reply]

Did anyone answer this? You can upload a scan of your photo so that it can be used. Please ask at the Help Desk for technical assistance in how to do this. Pkeets (talk) 17:23, 18 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have just corrected the article about Oscar Natzka and sent an e-mail to Mrs. Garcia.--Jeanambr (talk) 17:36, 20 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
