General Additions[edit]

I have recently created this article based on the information available to me. Feel free to make any additions/corrections.

Thanks! I've been heavily working on current outbreaks that we need to get these historic ones up! Breaks are hard to come by these days and soon I'll be working in the hurricane section! There are dozens of others that could be worked on. CrazyC83 03:52, 19 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I plan on gathering information for most of the significant ones in the last 30 years. I just finished the andover outbreak and i am currently working on this one and May 3, 1999. I will also eventually compile tornado lists for the super outbreak and palm sunday 65'. Bigphishy56 07:40, 19 April 2006 (CDT)

"Second only to the Palm Sunday tornado outbreak of 1965..."[edit]

The Palm Sunday tornado outbreak of 1965 wasn't in March; it was in mid-April. Both of the other two Palm Sunday tornado outbreaks were in March, though, so maybe the original editor meant one of them? --Quuxplusone 09:25, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why are the March 11 and 12 events listed here?[edit]

Over two days, there were only 5 insignificant tornadoes. Why are they on this page? This seems like an exclusively March 13 event...-RunningOnBrains 20:27, 10 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Name[edit]

I moved the article named "Central US Tornado Outbreak of March 1990" to "March 1990 Central US tornado outbreak" to comply with Wikipedia:Naming conventions (events). --Rosiestep (talk) 23:18, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
