Cutie confusion[edit]

The reference (evidently a misreading of Blair, page 788) to November 1944 marking the first success of the Mark XVIII is false. This was actually the first successful use of the so-called Cutie homing torpedo, not the Mark XVIII, which had been in use for over a year by this point and had had most of it's bugs ironed out. The whole paragraph (along with the footnote) should be deleted, but such work is beyond my present Wiki abilities.172.191.102.185 (talk) 00:33, 31 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
