Bryan's Road[edit]

date of park[edit]

The available (verifiable) sources agree that the park was started in the 1880s, and that jousting as a park activity is no older than that (likely 1885). See for example

There are plenty of verifiable sources, Washington DC area newpaper articles and Advertisments referring to Marshall Hall as early as 1871. This also includes jousting tournaments. Element94 (talk) 01:09, 11 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
