Samuel Morse: 5th or 6th cousin twice removed?[edit]

I think the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) reference^[1] got the genealogy wrong for Samuel Morse. The Morse brothers Anthony ("Anthony1") and William ("William1") sailed to America in 1635. The NAS reference says Samuel was a descendant of William1, so that Samuel and Marston would be 6th cousins twice removed. However, the other references^[2]^{: 183 (Entry 2696), 217 (Entry 3297)}^[3]^[4] all say Samuel was a descendant of Anthony1, so that Samuel and Marston would be 5th cousins twice removed.
