Support per nomination. The two-sentence stub for Martha Nelson (swimmer) is not primary over the article delineating the creator of "Doll Babies". To quote from "'Custody' fight over Cabbage Patch dolls", "Before Roberts was selling his dolls, Mrs. Thomas (then Martha Nelson) was selling her version." Furthermore, databases such as olympics.com list the swimmer, who was born in 1954, four years after the doll creator, as Martha Nelson-Grant. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 21:56, 1 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I would likewise support the alternative option Martha Nelson → Martha Nelson-Grant. Since both women achieved initial notability under their birth name — "Martha Nelson" — the creation of a Martha Nelson disambiguation page listing Martha Nelson Thomas as well as Martha Nelson-Grant would seem to be the most intuitive solution. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 20:17, 3 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
