Though I do not dissagree with number 1, number 2 is not correct in my opinion. This article clearly reads like an academic bio. Quite possibly written as an autobiography. This is not encyclopedia content.
All of which is a red herring: the question that should be asked is whether or not this individual is notable, according to wikipedia notability standards: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability_(academics)
I could see an argument for and against. However I think that since this article reads like an autobiography, that is telling.
Either way, should this article be deemed notable, it clearly needs a complete rewrite to ensure neutral point of view standards.69.254.150.47 (talk) 05:20, 20 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Neutral point of View and conflict of interests[edit]

As I noted before, this article reads like a self promotional bio. A quick google search corroborates this: http://scholar.rhsmith.umd.edu/mloeb/biocv

It is worth nothing that large chucks of text are quoted verbatum from that bio. From my experience, most academic bios are written by the academic themself. It is quite possible that Martin Loeb wrote this article about himself.

Would recommend applying the neutral point of view tag to this article and rewrite it, if it is indeed notable, to be less promotional.69.254.150.47 (talk) 05:40, 20 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
