Entry[edit]

User:Midas02 Re [1] don't forget we don't have to list all entries per WP:MOSDAB. We have a poorly sourced label article with many non-linked and redlink artists, one being DABMENTIONED here. There's no source for the whole section, let alone any details to support the entry of the unlinked BLP. That falls below the threshold for inclusion in my book. There's more info in this dab about the BLP than in the article. I'll leave for now, but that's normally what I'd remove (previous promotional editing / article now deleted). When I looked into it, the man was still linked on half a dozen pages. Why did you remove those? --Midas02 (talk) 04:11, 8 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
See MOS:DABRL, WP:REDLINK, WP:WRITEITFIRST . Unlinking the deleted article is a cleanup task. Dabs should just follow articles, but here we don't have much to go on (and nothing sourced WP:V). It's a BLP too. This is cleaning up a big ring of sock / promo / COI / undisclosed editing - my thoughts on two arguably valid viewpoints is at WP:BOGOF. You seem to be suggesting that the article was promotional? I can't verify any more as the article was removed, but in that case I wouldn't mind if the entry was removed. I did find it strange there wasn't an article for him on German WP. --Midas02 (talk) 01:59, 9 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Can't remember - this is a big sockfarm with at least 20-100 accounts. Check the other articles in the list from the label - all I saw are SPA / COI. This promo has been known for years - see Talk:Filo & Peri (that article at least has an assertion of notability, it just fails WP:V else I would have PRODDed it). They're all screaming cleanup or delete per BOGOF. I may extend BOGOF if the logic works for obvious COI / promo, not just paid editing. The systemic bias is the fundamental, and that's the same with commercial interests / promo the same as paid editing (...time goes by....done). Widefox; talk 10:34, 9 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
