I just bought the latest issue, and when I went here the summary for marvel zombies 2 #4, it wasnt added, but deleted!I also realize that the summary was very vague. Can anyone edit this article correctly?DavidEGonzalez 1:34, January 25 2007 (UTC)

No House of M[edit]

Scanner was one of the Acolytes de-powered in the House of M event. Is it safe to thusly include that the Marvel Zombie-verse did not have the House of M event? — Preceding unsigned comment added by PMMJ (talkcontribs) 14:52, 24 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, duh. MZ is set decades before House of M even began!— Preceding unsigned comment added by SaliereTheFish (talkcontribs) 20 January 2007 (UTC)

Sequel[edit]

Should we put the mention of a sequel now since MZ's writer Robert Kirkman has already confirmed that it is on his plans (he refers to it as something that will happen not something that might happen) and that it will be on develpoment as soon as the artist (Sean Phillips) schelude is cleared, He even said that he started writing it already and anounced a few characters appearing, or should we wait? more info on announcement [1] User:Dark Dragon Flame 19 December 2006

Organizing[edit]

I think, if you have enough time to address all of the above issues, I think you should seriously shorten the plot summary or at least organize it better. Dark Reign, Secret Invasion and Doctor Strange have all been substantially reduced in detail despite their greater significance in Marvel than the series. Although I see it seems to be highly popular, such exceptions should not be made. Aidoflight (talk) 20:17, 30 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Marvel zombies time line[edit]

since the time line that you have now is a little out of date, I'd like to add some things to it.

Marvel zombies: Dead Days/Marvel Zombies: Army of Darkness these two happen at the same time, and are all part of the origin. MZ:DD is just about the origin of what happened, while MZ:AoD is about Ashly Williams going threw the marvel zombie universe and surviving.

Marvel zombies: Evil Evolution happens right after MZ:DD and MZ:AoD. This is when Mr. Fantastic and some other zombies go to the ape universe and start to wage a war.

Ultimate Fantastic Four I don't have the numbers, but these are about the frightful four and the ultimate fantastic four meeting each other.

Marvel Zombies the first MZ comic, this fallows magneto after ultimate fantastic four leave him in the zombie universe.

Marvel Zombies 3 machine man tries to find a blood sample of a human being in the zombie universe because the plague is starting to spread to his world.

Marvel Zombies 4: Midnightsons this is the story of the Midnightsons and how they fight of the zombie plague and try to trap it.

Deadpool: Merc With a Mouth: Headtrip this fallows deadpool and the severed head of zombie deadpool (call him headpool) as they go all around different universes and back.

Deadpool Corps: prelude this fallows right after D:MWaM:H, and is the prelude to a new series called Deadpool Corps. This is how they find all the other types of Deadpools and how they start their mission to save the universe multiple times.

Deadpool Corps: volume 1 right after DC:P, this fallows the Deadpool Corps threw space to save the world from the awareness.

Spiderman again, not sure of the number, but this is sort of the prelude to Marvel Zombies 5

Marvel Zombies 5 Fallowing Machine man and Howard the Duck threw many diffrent universes (inclouding a world called world:0000) to help Morbius find a cure for his friend Jack Russel.

Black Panther again, I don't know all the numbers, but I do know that this fallows black panther, storm, the human torch, and the Thing as they go to the marvel zombie skrull planet. Marvel Zombies 2 after, oh 20 years of picking the known universe clean, the marvel zombies go and try to find the teleporting thing that Mr. Fantastic made, and then go to a difrent universe. But instead they find living human survivers on the earth.

Marvel Zombies: Returns after being (bla bla bla, not spoiling any thing) they land on Earth Z, and start to kill everything in there path.

This, so far, is the whole time line so far. but as the new Marvel Zombies: Supreme is coming out March 2011, I don't think (and I sure do hope) that we havn't seen the half of this twisted tail.

P.S. I forgot to add Ultimate Civil War spider ham, but that doesn't really have a true place in this at all. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.135.65.230 (talk) 22:06, 12 November 2010

Derogatory term[edit]

Interesting bit of trivia is that "Marvel Zombies" (capital Z too) was a derogatory term used for much of the eighties by the likes of The Comics Journal and Amazing Heroes to refer to readers who blindly bought Marvel books and only Marvel books, regardless of quality. I don't have a full run of either so it's hard to work out exactly who coined it and the usage, but it could be something interesting to add, especially given the irony of Marvel Zombies who kept buying Marvel Zombies long after the quality dropped off.
