Untitled[edit]

I have additional references to add content and cite. In order for the article to flow properly, I've integrated content throughout. Additional Sections to be added[edit]

I am going to add a section on Mary Nyanjiru's legacy. Poem's, songs, book and how her name and legacy was invoked during the Mau Mau uprising.

I do not have any suggestions for you that you would need to apply to this article. Final edits; I added the section on legacy with a few more references. I cleaned up some spelling and punctuation areas. I also moved some content around, though I deleted nothing, only added legacy section. I have quite a bit of references on women striping as a severe form of protest, I am not sure if that short blurb in the middle section (Harry Thuku Disturbance) has enough explaination of the magnitude of severity that this form of protest was viewed. Also, that it was one of the only actions a women could use as protest.

I visited the Nairobi National Museum during my (oddly coincidental) trip to Nairobi. In the museum is a painting of the scene directly after the bloodshed. I had limited time, and couln not find out information about the artist. The photo I took of the painting in horribly reflected. So I'm adding a link to a google image of the painting, in hopes that someone will have information on this piece of art. I am presently in Nairobi for another five days and hope to get back to the museu.
