It is also the annual open house/family day for the University of Maryland. Held on a Saturday in spring, usually April. More information at www.marylandday.umd.edu

official site[edit]

The Maryland Manual, the legally mandated and official publication of State Government designates this site as the official Maryland Day site. See that site which is noted in the article.

To summarize your remarks: it's "official" solely because you're able to edit a webpage saying so, and that you have no other source than your own edits. Actually I was looking for a reliable source. Tedickey (talk) 12:19, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

My credentials are such that I, and many others including the Maryland Legislature, believe I am a reliable source, but you are certainly welcome to your opinion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ecpclio (talkcontribs) 00:19, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
