The show is out now. I just watched the first episode a few hours ago... Contralya 04:38, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Any word on a second season? Cromulent Kwyjibo 23:45, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Don't expect one, two episodes from the first season still need to be aired, and the general response to the series wasn't very good. Carpetsmoker 15:33, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Especially that episode directed by Frakes. So unrelievedly depressing. Are there any Nielsen ratings data we can cite? ShutterBugTrekker 22:09, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
From http://www.tvweek.com/ratings (first set of numbers are for the first 30 minute timeslot, second set if for the second 30 minute timeslot)
  1. 1.9/4(0.8) 1.9/4(0.8)
  2. 2.2/4(1.0) 2.1/4(1.0)
  3. 1.8/3(0.8) 1.7/3(0.8)
  4. Not yet released
Not sure what the numbers precisely mean, the PDF says "Household ratings and shares (18-49 rating in parentheses)", which is a bit vague, and I can't be bothered to look it up right now... Carpetsmoker 04:21, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It's not that difficult. The first set of numbers 1.9/4(0.8) means:
  • 1.9% of U.S. homes were watching. (about 2.1 million out of 110 million homes)
  • 4% of homes with turned-on television sets were watching. (The other 96% were watching something else.)
  • 0.8% of the homes had 18-49 year olds. (about 0.9 million out of 110 million homes) - 24.249.100.9 23:25, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Original Canadian air-dates[edit]

The first four episodes aired in Canada at roughly the same time as they did in the US, though I don't have the exact dates. (anyone?) The second run of this series in Canada is scheduled to include the final two episodes, so the 'first aired' dates for those two are correct, but it will be the second airing of the first four. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.64.248.51 (talk) 03:29, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! I can't wait to steal..... er, watch them on the internet.  ;-) - Theaveng (talk) 17:42, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

-Original US Airing The text of this article says that the episode "the Watchbirds" has not been shown in the US. This is incorrect, I viewed this episode some years ago on Television. Also, This program was shown in the US under the name Masters of Science Fiction (or a close facsimile) on ABC on Saturday Nights 10PM Eastern time. Time frame was the early 2000's I believe. -jbbrandes — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jbbrandes (talkcontribs) 04:20, 16 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
