I disagree with the text which is not NPOV. The article should open saying that he was a civil servant and may have asessments and evaluation of his worthiness or contribution (as it does) under Honours and tributes. - Kittybrewster 22:11, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have addressed your concerns and taken your advice. The sources for this article, including official documents, archive summaries, and media reports, are all in the public domain, and the article reflects a consistency of recognition in public of Maurice G.
