I'm just starting this for now, and I hope it doesn't get deleted before more content is added. It should in time be listed under Max Rep with redirects from Max Rep in the Age of Astrotitans, Max Rep: Mr. Astrotitan 2206, and Quadra Blu, and I think I'll slip in a mention of Max Rep and Lyman Dally into the Muscular Development article. Max Rep's stats are important, as are Blu's (as listed on her poster).

I admit, most of this is from memory and this forum discussion: [1], and so anyone with more memory (and back issues) can and should fill in more. What are "Mutagenic Steroids"? Who were the bad buys and who was Max's arch-rival Razer-Cutt? I never did see Max Rep in FLEX, only MD. I gotta visit a library and go through back issues to really fill in this article. Andrew Y. My most recent update is a bit late as it is coming long after Quadra Blu's webcomic premiered. I shoulda known this was coming months ago, but at least I know about it now and have updated the article accordingly. This was also an opportunity to add references, more categories, and overall clean up the look of the article. The external links seemed to justify a split, one of the galleries was a dead link and I figured a more reliable replacement was due. There are no more links to individual deviantART pages and I figure anyone curious can just surf there themselves using Dally's page as a starting point, and besides, Google image search brings up lots of great stuff. Since Quadra Blu has so much more info about her, I've expanded her section. Looks a bit odd to have so much about her and so little about Max, but I couldn't resist. Some great info is out there, but somewhat awkward for references. The Picturing the Modern Amazons ref. has no page number because I honestly couldn't figure out which page the quote was on - Google books only gave me snippet view and that wasn't sufficient to tell. I would have loved to have cited a ref for the description of how Dally cancelled the strip and was planning a story arc, but I honestly don't know where it's from. In this forum [2] you'll see several black and white pages photographed (not scanned) from a... source. I suspect it's from issue two of the comic, but can't be certain, so rather than cite a possibly incorrect source, I left the info without.

A few other things: I finally got a peak at a Max Rep comic from FLEX! You can see the image linked in this forum (scroll down a ways):[3]. The poster I mentioned above and below has travelled all over the web, appearing in a few different places, and though I finally found the Amaz0ns forum page with it (lotta good stuff on those forums), I no longer need it. The blogger known as Area Orion has been crucial to Dally's creation of Quadra's new webcomic (from the sound of things, AO convinced Dally to do it, or at least let him know about the viability of a return), been promoting it everywhere, and responsible for lots of new images from the MD comic. There has yet to be any kind of Max Rep archive (a tall order to be sure), but between that blogger, other fans, and Dally himself, I suspect it may be possible. I think I may in time fire off some e-mails and see if I get a response about what could be done. I also found out which covers Max appeared on ("Covers" plural - There are two), was able to get images, and will try to upload both, though I suspect I will only be able to use them in the MD article, and not here according to fair use rules. I have just now uploaded the two MD covers, but fair use rules appear to limit their appearance to the Muscular Development article (hence the non-standard links below), where I tried to keep them small, not wanting to hog too much space with more giant thumbnails. I didn't replace the original cover as it would be odd to have the only covers shown be so old and featuring comic strip characters (notwithstanding Sandy Riddell's flesh & blood reality). Added Image Links

I've now added some image and image gallery external links and hopefully those can sort of double as references too. Unfortunately the above forum posting is gone and doesn't appear to have been mirrored by the internet archive. Shame too, because there was a Quadra Blu poster linked from that site. I'm also not certain where to find the Muscular Development Max & Quadra cover of the same issue that contained the poster, nor am I certain of that issue's date. Surely it must be available for viewing somewhere and given the existence of the MD cover in that article, the cover may be acceptable as an image here as well.Andrew Y.
