Dating back to at least the 5th century?
That's been removed from the body of the article so I'm not clear why it's in the lead. We did have "Bricker (1982) estimates that the Haab' was first used around 550 BC with a starting point of the winter solstice".Doug Weller talk 16:49, 17 March 2016 (UTC)
