Thoughts before submission[edit]

To avoid perfectionism stopping me ever submitting this, I’m listing my thoughts on this dab page prior to AfC submission here so myself or anyone else can refer to them in future.

The opening line: currently it uses the wording commonly refers to. Should it instead be is commonly used to refer to? (Is there a standard for this?)

Referring to the locations: Should the dab page state former mayor of [city], or former mayor of [city], [state]? Currently it states the former.
- Worth noting: for Jason West, the article for the village of New Paltz specifically refers to the village as New Paltz (village), New York (as opposed to just New Paltz (village)). Should that naming convention be reflected on this dab page? And if so, should it impact whether or not the [city], [state] naming convention is used for the other entries as well?

Future 'See Also' section: Is it worth adding this, and including links like Mayor of the West Midlands/Mayor of West Yorkshire? In which case, should something like Mayor of the West or Mayor of West instead be created as a dab page, added to, and that dab page linked from the ‘see also’ section here?
