Dubious facts/Emmy noms & wins[edit]

This article states that the show's producer, A. Curtis Farrow, has been seven times nominated for an Emmy Award, winning twice, in 2000 and 2001. The article cites this questionable blog as the source of this fact, despite the fact that the Emmy Awards organization has a rather complete search function that completely fails to find any mention of either A. Curtis Farrow (even when simply searching for the term "Farrow") or "Gospelfest". Personally, I put my faith in the Emmy organization itself rather than a blog, and call these facts dubious. Thoughts? WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 22:13, 14 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

For 2008, WWORTV religious programming; likely the same for other years as well:
  • "The 52nd Annual New York Emmy's Award Nominations Announced this Morning" (PDF) (Press release). The New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. February 12, 2009. Retrieved 2012-11-11.

another pub ref:

Here it gets fishy: The televised production (WABC) of Gospelfest won: but he is not cited as producer of the TV program:

So the show he produced won, but the award was given to the producer it's broadcast. Should/how can that be worked into article? Djflem (talk) 23:50, 14 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

My read of the facts in hand is that Farrow produced the festival, but WABC-TV sent its own production crew to film, edit, and produce the broadcast, and that broadcast won the New York Regional Emmy Award, not the festival itself. I'll rewrite the section to clarify that, with citations. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 11:49, 15 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
