Mentally handicapped men, called Nescher Ernst and Nescher Werner were saved by local Nazi Party during T-4 Euthanasia Programme. They survived the years of the Nazi regime primarily through the intervention by the NSDAP Ortsgruppenleiter, who found them protected status as industrial workers in Meßstetten. Ernst Roth in therapy Mariaberg was killed in T4.[4] A Person who heard voices send to psychiatric hospital and was killed in Aktion T4 not receiving a type of therapy. The causes of auditory hallucinations are unclear until today, 3 to 10 percent of the population can hear auditory hallucinations. In serious diseases , 98 % it is possible to obtain help in psychiatric hospital. The rest can be trained to life with the voices.

Eine größere Anzal von führenden Parteimännern und -frauen, voran der Ortsgruppenleiter, waren in Haft genommen und in Richtung Balingen abgeführt worden . Besonders leid tat vielen Stadtbewohnern der erste Hoheitsträger Jakob Rieber, der durch Öffnen der Panzersperre von der Stadt die Vernichtung abgewendet hatte. Es geschah mit Lebensgefahr, die ihm durch die Werwölfe und SS-Leute , welche in der Gegend umherstreiften, gedroht hatte . In Meßstetten war der Altbürgermeister Maier und der Lammwirt erschossen worden, weil sie friedliche Gesinnung zeigten und gegen einen hirnverrückten Widerstand Stellung genommen hatten . Daß ein solcher von oben herunter, von einem Reichsleiter Bormann und einem Reichsstatthalter Wilhelm Murr bei Androhung der Todes strafe befohlen worden war , wurde von der Bevölkerung als Verbrecher gekennzeichnet.Denn wenn die gesamte deutsche Wehrmacht dem Feindansturm erlegen war, wie konnte der Zivilbevölkerung ohne Wehr und Waffen ein Kampf gegen die feindlichen, wohlgerüsteten Heere zugemutet werden. Sie waren hierdurch geradezu ins Verderben getrieben worden.[5]

The Eldorado near Meßstetten was to pass the border faster than the custom officer.

Within the Heuberg Training Area there is the legendary Dreibannmarke, also called the "Bahn", a 17th-century border, which today marks the border between three different municipalities, formerly in the three states of Württemberg, Baden, and Hohenzollern. The meadow at the Dreibannmarke served as a stopping place for traveling merchants, wagons and craftsmen. After the inauguration of the firing ranges, a meadow was allocated to the Gypsies as a camping site at the edge of the restricted area.
