Improvement in quality of this article[edit]

"This article does not cite any sources. (August 2017)" Not right! This article is linked to the one and only primary source, the standard document itself. The article is a summary of this standard. Nearly each sentence could be marked as quotation or so. Would that be really useful? Everybody may download and read the original standard document for free. I am the author of the current standard version. All secondary sources ("third parties") concerning this standard would be mirror the text of the press release distributed by my association which is the the editor of this standard and the host of its download resource.

"The topic of this article may not meet Wikipedia's general notability guideline. (August 2017)" Not right! The German "mother version" of this article exists since 2005. The first edition of the English translation of this standard dates from 2006. The current German standard version of 2016 was translated to English in 2016/17. After publishing the English version (February 2017) this English wiki article was created immediately. The Media Standard Print is based on many ISO standards (look inside!) and explains working and measurement tools used worldwide. It is relevant for global markets and accepted and used in all continents:
