Article Title[edit]

This article seems mis-titled. The word Media refers to 'the materials and techniques used by an artist to produce a work'. This concept can be expanded to include the computers and the internet when they are used to produce cultural or artistic work. As such, computers and the internet are often referred to as new media especially in a business or advertising context.

New media history of China might be a reasonable title but the phrase is a recent one. I suggest that The History of computing in China would best fit the content of the article.

Alternatively the article should be expanded to include other artistic and cultural media such as paint writing etc. etc.IanOfNorwich (talk) 13:17, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
