Bulking out the article[edit]

Bit by bit, I'm going to build up a history of the club as told by the various Roy of the Rovers comic strips. I plan to divide the history section into "Early Years" (including the pre-war years and the first years of the strip), "1960s", "1970s", "1980s", "1990s" and "2000s". If anyone would like to contribute to this, then please feel free. I'm currently writing a section on the club's various kits and colours, so there's no need to do that; but there'll also be sections on notable players, notable managers, honours won (with a note that they're all fictional!) and so on, so any contributions are welcome as it will take a while to get it all up and ready.

Since the article should really, as a whole, be about the "original" Melchester, I would suggest moving mention of the real clubs that have taken the name to a separate section at the end of the article. Seb Patrick 08:27, 5 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, great stuff here. Just amended the 80s section to correct the common misconception that it was an earthquake. They definitely revealed later that it was subsidence. Monthlies[edit]

Using my own research I can add comprehensive season by season guides like in the real world. I'm not sure if this meets the Wiki standards of relevance to the real world or readership. I don't want to do it just to have it removed. Please advise me! Storky Knight talk 10:15 9 June 2013 (UTC)
