Comment: A quick search shows that she is evidently the Director for the Center for Value Based Medicine, former President of the Montgomery County Medical Society] and has authored over 120 publications on medical issues. A bit more:From Society for Women's Health Researach Brown is evidently one of the authors of The Savvy Woman Patient (ISBN 193310208X )—"Melissa Brown, BSN, MSN, MD, is an adjunct assistant professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and adjunct senior fellow at the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics at Penn. She is the director for the Center for Value-Based Medicine and co-chief Editor of Evidence-Based Eye Care. Dr. Brown has served as President of the Montgomery County (PA) Medical Society and serves on the Advisory Council for the National Institute for Aging. She has written over 120 publications on medical issues."
