Relation to cyclo-cross race held in Rome in the 80s-90s?[edit]

Back in the 80s-90s, there was a cyclo-cross race held in Rome as well which was part of the Superprestige. I'm unsure in what way that old one is related to this current one. Cycling Archives throws them together, but I don't know if this is a general view in the cyclo-cross world. Especially with the current one being a memorial race for a rider + their official site mentioning it is the third edition of this memorial. Anyone with more insight? — WardMuylaert (talk) 14:00, 27 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
