Merging pages?[edit]

Would merging the pages for both Mercury Acts 1 & 2 be an idea to consider? The band is releasing Act 2 as part of a double album rather than on its own. Maybe a page that combines both Acts would be beneficial rather than two separate pages? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ryjvol01 (talkcontribs) 16:53, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

To add to this, an alternative option could be to say that Mercury Act 1 and Mercury Act 2 are two halves of one double album if merging the pages would make the article too long. VoicefulBread66 (talk) 13:16, 9 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Second merging pages[edit]

Now that the band has announced their next album 'Loom' will be their sixth, I think merging the pages for Act 1 and the double album would be beneficial. 71.90.126.68 (talk) 19:49, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Artists and their labels have announced albums as their "debut" albums before when they have released multiple full-length albums beforehand, so we do not always follow what artists say in this manner. Regardless, "the first half of the fifth studio album" makes sense when this was released separately 10 months before Acts 1 & 2. This needs discussion and more importantly WP:CONSENSUS before you attempt such a large-scale merge, especially when you didn't even redirect this article when copying its information either. Thanks.
