MiG[edit]

The text describes the aircraft displayed on the medal as a MiG-23 or MiG-21. I suggest to call it an artistic interpretation of a MiG-21. The medal shows the typical delta wing of the MiG-21 together with her typical horizontal and vertical stabilizers. There is no indication of the "swing wing" or the air intakes at the side which are so typical for the MiG-23. The deviations of the artist from a complete MiG-21 start at the nose cone (radome) positioned inside the frontal air-intake of the engine. That element has been changed in geometry so that it now fills the front. Other deviations concern the very strange external loads which do not reflect anything any MiG ever carried and also the cockpit, while closer to that of a MiG-21, is not really close to that of either of the two types of aircraft mentioned. So my suggestion would be to change the text into "artistic interpretation of a MiG-21". JB. --92.195.3.19 (talk) 14:36, 20 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
