'refers' --> 'refer' in the first sentence[edit]

I'm proposing an edit to the first sentence of this article. Specifically, the word 'refers'. The way that the word is used doesn't make sense to me, as the preceding word is in plural form. Since that's the case, I think that 'refers' should be 'refer'. Before I go ahead, I want to get some input on this proposal. What do you think?
