Where did the name Mhoon come from?[edit]

I thought I wrote this here before many years ago but I cant find it now. A simple question ... where did the last name Mhoon, of long-time resident Feyton Mhoon, come from? I'm surprised there isn't more interest in a town getting this name more than 100 years before the Apollo moon landing. —Soap— 21:57, 6 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Soap: The last name "Mhoon" is an altered form of the Irish surname "Mohan", and has no relation to the moon. I took the picture in the article. It's a tranquil spot to watch barges go by, just keep an eye out for gators and deadly snakes. Magnolia677 (talk) 22:39, 6 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
