Length of service in Upper House[edit]

Quote from article -- "He was eventually to become the longest serving member in the Upper House." This is incorrect. Egan served 19 years in the Upper House - I can easily think of other MLC's who served longer. For example, Johno Johnson was an MLC for 25 years (1976-2001).

If the sentence has some meaning I have not picked up, let me know. Otherwise in 5 days (23 October) I will correct the article.
