COI tag (August 2021)[edit]

Uk0106 is likely Frese, himself. Chris Troutman (talk) 01:37, 4 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Nprof[edit]

@Chris troutman: COI issues aside he has an h-index of 111 so meets nprof on that basis at least. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 06:24, 4 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Curb Safe Charmer: NPROF says the subject could be presumed notable if he "has been an author of highly cited academic work – either several extremely highly cited scholarly publications or a substantial number of scholarly publications with significant citation rates." but it goes on to say that "Citation measures such as the h-index, g-index, etc., are of limited usefulness in evaluating whether Criterion 1 is satisfied.". I've been editing Wikipedia long enough to know that what we're really doing here is ILIKEIT !votes. If that's what you want to do, please say so. Your argument has no basis in what the guideline says at present. Chris Troutman (talk) 08:09, 6 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
