Reclassified[edit]

According to Burgin, Wilson, Mittelmeier, Rylands, Lacher & Sechrest, Illustrated Checklist of the Mammals of the World, Lynx Editons (Barcelona, 2020), Vol. 2, p. 96, the two species under genus Micropteropus are both deeply nested in Epomophorus, and thus genus Micropteropus falls. Both species should be added to the entry for Epomophorus. Ptilinopus (talk) 06:04, 24 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
