Remove Disambiguation[edit]

I suggest to remove this disambiguation page. The Build (design conference) is a defunct and vastly smaller profile than //build. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.57.132.149 (talk) 17:32, 13 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This disambiguation page is serving to confuse.

352 times in last 90 days: http://stats.grok.se/en/latest90/Build_(design_conference)

Nearly 120 of those on the day the Microsoft Build confernece date was announced (ie: the people going to Build_(Design_conference) were driven there looking for Build_(developer_conference).)

Compared to; 2057 times in the last 90 days. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Build_(developer_conference)

Also, Belfast' Build is a Festival: "Build is a Design Festival for web designers." Not a conference - but a self described festival. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.57.132.149 (talk) 18:15, 13 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Moving PDC into BUILD article from February 2013[edit]

I've been hearing recent talk lately to merge this article with PDC. Microsoft has called PDC a different event. On Channel 9, Microsoft seperates PDC and BUILD events for sessions. No need to merge just keep these articles seperate. WinMetro (talk) 01:14, 21 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Not so sure about merging. Perhaps create the necessary links between the two, and also create a redirect article for Build (Microsoft Conference) or some other header. They call it just "Build", as in "Build 2013". The Web Site is BuildWindows. Thanks, Group29 (talk) 13:52, 12 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

They are different events. No need to merge. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2401:FA00:5:1005:CE52:AFFF:FE46:5F2E (talk) 09:49, 28 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed the discussion box from the main article. Not many comments over last 10 months. Group29 (talk) 22:56, 15 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia[edit]

moved from article to discussion in good faith and interest, although quite honestly, probably will get some unhelpful feedback... Group29 (talk) 23:16, 8 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Build (developer conference)Build (conference)Build (design conference), the reason the dev conference was disambiguated like that, was PROD'd earlier this year on notability grounds, so the disambiguator is no longer needed.
