New enough and long enough, with a listed reference, but neither potential hook is explicitly cited in the article. In addition, the whole article is based on a single primary reference; it probably wouldn't hurt to find an additional source or two. Cwmhiraeth that certainly helps! My bigger concern is the DYK requirement that "The hook fact(s) must be stated in the article, and must be immediately followed by an inline citation to a reliable source. This rule applies even when a citation would not be required for the purposes of the article." Can you please provide those citations? BTW, if you're interested in further expanding the article, here are a couple of JSTOR links: these articles contain a description and some distribution info (LACEWINGS AND AQUATIC INSECTS OF NEW ZEALAND: 6. Gerroidea (Hemiptera: Heteroptera) in North Auckland and LACEWINGS AND AQUATIC INSECTS OF NEW ZEALAND: 2. Fauna of the northern offshore islands). There's also doi:10.1111/j.1365-3032.1967.tb00810.x this one, but I don't have access. Let me know if the JSTOR articles are of interest, as I can send you the relevant bits. @MeegsC: I will add information on the winged and wingless forms, and habitat, as included in your first example. As for the hooks, I would have said ALT0 was well cited, and I added a citation in the middle of the paragraph on feeding that I thought covered ALT1. Do you see a better place for a citation, or is it the "inadvertently land" bit that bothers you? I could substitute "float" I suppose. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 19:43, 14 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
