Location[edit]

Its location on the border of Coventry and Warwickshire makes its location confusing. There is a Coventry border signpost in the road opposite MAM. It seems to me that some of the car park may be in Warwickshire, but the entrance and the main building is in Coventry. There is a Coventry City Council notice on a noticeboard outside MAM, which is another clue. My guess is that it is in Coventry; however, I am not sure why the postal address is at Coventry Airport, which is in Baginton, Warwickshire. Snowman 21:00, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I looked at an OS map, and it seems that the boundary follows the Baginton-side edge of the A45 from the big roundabout with the A46/A444, then comes out at right-angles to go around the trading estate opposite the MAM, but then follows the airfield-side edge of Rowley Road. So although the road outside the MAM is in Coventry, MAM itself, along with all the rest of the original airfield land, is within Warwickshire. Twopenneth 09:21, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I think that you are probably correct - I have just phoned them up for confirmation. Snowman 09:32, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Exhibit wls[edit]

Seems odd to me that each exhibit has not been linked! Any reason? --Red Sunset (talk) 19:56, 18 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There have been a number of edits to this page, and what you see is its current form. Anyone is welcome to add links, images or content that will improve the page. Snowman (talk) 20:26, 18 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, there is a lot of work to be done on the lists here. Some of the exhibits are in the hanger and some are out on the grass. The lists are all linked on the "City of Norwich Aviation Museum" page. Snowman (talk) 10:02, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Will add wls when convenient. --Red Sunset (talk) 18:03, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
