Created by co-author[edit]

This article was created by a co-author of Prof. Martinez Gonzalez, perhaps a student of his? (see Bes-Rastrollo M, Pérez Valdivieso JR, Sánchez-Villegas A, Alonso A, Martínez-González MA. Validación del peso e índice de masa corporal auto-declarados de los participantes de una cohorte de graduados universitarios. Rev Esp Obes 2005; (in press)). This seems to violate WP:COI. --Macrakis 18:37, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have to declare I know Dr Martinez-Gonzalez since I worked in the University of Navarra. However, I have tried to be impartial and all the information is honest and up-dated.--Jose Ramon Perez Valdivieso 22:36, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Fair enough. The only issue, I guess, is Wikipedia:Notability (academics) -- note the stress on independent sources. --Macrakis 22:41, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I would suggest removing this page at all. This research does not reach the standards for a page on an encyclopedia, there is nothing notable nor a particularly high achievement such as Nobel or anything even comparable.. 109.231.193.22 (talk) 10:33, 3 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Below 'notability' standards[edit]

Reading the achievements and other information added in this page, I believe that this researcher is below the standards regarding notability, as his achievements are average considering decades of university of career, and they are similar to many other thousands professors in Europe and Spain. I suggest removing this page from Wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.141.62.149 (talk) 13:48, 29 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
