GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
There are a few places where I'd like to see prose tightened. For instance, "However, in early October, he was signed off the Colts' practice squad by the Atlanta Falcons,[27] but was waived on October 26 without making an appearance for Atlanta.[28]". The 'however' isn't necessary, and saying "He was signed off the Colts' practice squad in early October by the Atlanta Falcons,[27], but was waived on October 26 without making an appearance..." is tighter prose. Also "Echols, who has type 1 diabetes[1] and requires the use of insulin,[2] was born in Youngstown, Ohio on October 13, 1978." I think one sentence about his birth and another about his T1D would be better.

  1. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
  2. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
There is nothing said about him post-2006. I wouldn't be surprised if there was nothing to say, but I feel I need to doublecheck that to make sure 3a is passed. A few other issues come up for 3a. Why was he put on PUP after he was drafted? Also, if Samari Rolle was injured and Echols took over as starting CB, why would the team look to trade him? I presume in the former case there was an injury, and in the latter he didn't perform well enough and the Titans gave the job to someone else, but this should be said.
There doesn't appear to be anything on him after his stint in the CFL that exists. However, I will check out the other two issues listed here.--Giants27(T|C) 20:29, 16 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Also, after searching for a reason as to why he was placed on the PUP list, I can't seem to find anything. Google goes right from his signing to him being placed on the PUP list, just like the article. And as for what led to his release, one can infer that it was due to poor performance, but there doesn't appear to be an article that comes right out and says the reason for the release. I added a bit of info, however, about one of the final games he started during the preseason, which could shed some light on the decision to ultimately release him.--Giants27(T|C) 20:41, 16 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  1. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  2. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  3. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
Are any free images available? I don't see any through a cursory glance at Flickr. If you tell me there are none, I'll believe you.
There doesn't appear to be any, unless I missed it.--Giants27(T|C) 20:29, 16 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  1. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
You've addressed my comments, and it can't be held against you if information is sparse and free images are not available. This passes GA muster. – Muboshgu (talk) 20:59, 16 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
