Killdozer[edit]
That NYU band, Sharky's machine, was originally called Killdozer. Unfortunately another band already had that name, so Edison & Co. had to change their name.
I know this because I had the dubious fortune to attend a couple of their Lower East Side gigs back in the day. The NYU connection -- and the personal relations that the bands had -- was what had them playing with Reagan Youth. Now THAT was a band.
Drake[edit]
What? No mention of his time as a third-rate editor at the third-rate Drake Publishing?
