Mike Opat is a relatively unknown politician who has recently posted a huge wiki page on himself (ip address was registered to Hennepin County Govt Center). I am attempting to pare this page down to an appropriate amount if information that is not insanely one sided. I appreciate wiki editors, but a page this large is not appropriate for a person of his stature.

Please see WP:POLITICIAN. He seems to barely squeak by on notability. Please stop deleting text from the article without discussion. Who then was a gentleman? (talk) 23:42, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

This page is way to big. Ken Salazar the US Secretary of the Interior has a page less than 24KB while this guy's is over 30 KB. It appears to have been created and largely written by User:Geresh111 who may know the subject (he claims the picture in the article is his own work). Opat is the chair of The Hennepin County Board of Commissioners which doesn't even have a page. One editor was blocked for trying to pate this page down. If I don't hear anything in the near future I'm going to decimate the page. --Weetoddid (talk) 22:32, 11 June 2009 (UTC)
