Note to trident13. You added a notability template less than 30 minutes after I created the article, and asked.... "(created page outline - have LOTS more to add. To be fair to trident13, an article shouldn't be in the main namespace unless it already qualifies. I usually create a draft in user space, then move it to main when most of the work is already done. WP:BIO[edit]

I think the easiest way to get this article to qualify per WP:BIO would be to meet this criteria: The person has been the primary subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent of the person. I added one sourced incident from the AP. If you added one or two more, that would sew it up on notability. Just be careful about WP:NPOV. If there is a reliable secondary source for his hiring at AAR (like a newspaper article) that would be another one. That claim needs a source anyway. - Crockspot 18:52, 12 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I rewrote the introduction of the O'Reilly quote a bit. "Arch-nemesis" was unsourced, and seemed POV, and "outburst" was definitely POV, if you listen to the clip. I didn't see the need to characterize the comments at all, since they were quoted right after. What is the deal with O'reilly and Olberman? Did Bill really cut the guy off for mentioning his name, or did he say something else after? They run a seven second delay on those shows. Crockspot 23:05, 12 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I know it's considered bad form to edit your own article, but that's about all I know about wikipedia's cultural norms. I hope I'm not stepping out of line by posting here... Just thought I'd offer some more data... My dob: 9/23/68, born in Glens Falls, NY... I consider yself more of an activist than a blogger... Had success in the Allen race, against KSFO (NYT article second page of googling my name), and I'm responsible for the "Hannity Sucks Ass" sign that made it onto Fox at the Lamont primary celebration. Most recently, I've been in the news because Fox lawyer Dianne Brandi sent the dean of my law school (UVa - John C. Jffries) a letter asking him to investigate my conduct for possible violations of the school's standards of behavior...

Anyway, not sure if any of this was helpful; if it was, take what you want, leave the rest.

Lead[edit]

I removed a whole chunk of lengthy quotes, overly detail explanations from the lead regarding a recent arrest. This is not to say the incident isn't notable but how is this okay for the lead?. It gives too much weight to recent events and the lead is meant to be a summary of the article, not a place to publish recent news. I'm honestly surprised by how long this stood in an article about a living person. It was not even well written, mostly a bunch of quotes taken from a Fox article.
