Could we have more detail on the "Mile High Collection?"[edit]

The article doesn't really explain where it comes from, what it is, what happened to it, etc. Afabbro 17:11, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Edgar Church/Mile High collection[edit]

We should probably mention the connection to the Edgar Church/Mile High collection. j-beda 02:27, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Possible conflict of interest[edit]

Based upon the four contributions by Aletabr to Wikipedia, I suspect he/she may be editing on behalf of Chuck Rozanski for whom the editor created two articles and edited Mile High Comics in a favorable way toward Rozanski. For this reason, I am placing a COI tag on the article. OccamzRazor (talk) 04:13, 26 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I removed this template. That user has not edited on Wikipedia since 2006 and the article has been modified several times since then. --GentlemanGhost (talk) 20:02, 26 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Aleta is the name of one of Chuck Rozanski's daughters, just FYI. It's not an extraordinary possibility. 64.222.94.132 (talk) 19:51, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Potential source[edit]

Steve Duin of The Oregonian has co-written a book entitled Comics: Between the Panels in which he interviewed Chuck Rozanski about the Edgar Church collection.[1] I don't own the book, but it might be useful source for this article. --GentlemanGhost (talk) 20:41, 26 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The partly auto-biographical column "Tales from the Database" from Comics Buyers Guide, which can also be read at the Mile High Comics site, might also be a source, although perhaps biased. 195.35.160.133 (talk) 10:37, 8 December 2009 (UTC) Martin.[reply]

Remove notability tag???[edit]

I think the notability-tag should be removed, because MHC is obviously a very major player in the comics world, and the comics world is very influential in popular culture (e.g. movies like Spider-Man and Iron Man, tv-shows like Hulk and mentions in Entourage etc. etc.).

However because I am unsure whether it is ok to just remove such a tag without discussion, I put my suggestion here, rather than removing the tag outright.

I am now removing the tag because nobody objected. 195.35.160.133 (talk) 10:39, 8 December 2009 (UTC) Martin.[reply]

Ad in DC Comics, Harvey, Archie, etc.[edit]

Flipping through my giant collection of comics from 1969 forward, MHC ads didn't appear in Marvel titles 'til around '85 at the earliest, while I have some other company titles that have MHC ads prior to Marvel's earliest ads. I will come clean and tell you that I buy the majority of my comics from MHC, though. Apple8800 (talk) 08:21, 31 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This article is generally poorly written and has many mistakes in formatting 2600:1008:B012:E498:C577:E16C:5281:1E61 (talk) 21:29, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
