DNA studies on y chromosomnal dna and mitochondrial dna of fujian han chinese (min speaking peoples)[edit]

Around 100% of fujian han chinese (min speaking people's) y chromosomnal DNA is from northern chinese origins, while only 34% mitochondrial are from north china. The author of this dissertation uses that evidence to indicate that most southern chinese, including fujianese are descended from han from northern china marrying native women in southern china.
