Nobody for 1916-1921?[edit]

Am I missing something? Timeshift (talk) 08:49, 24 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

According to my hardback Parliamentary Handbook, the Dept of External Affairs was abolished on 14 November 1916 and its functions incorporated into the Dept of Home and Territories and the PM's Dept. There was no Minister for External Affairs in Billy Hughes's National Labour ministry (1916-1917). The portfolio was revived on 17 February 1917, at the start of Hughes's Nationalist ministries, and it was held by PM Hughes himself throughout the period 1917-23. The Dept of External Affairs was only re-established on 21 December 1921. These details are no longer shown in the online version, unfortunately. That's progress for you. -- JackofOz (talk) 12:19, 24 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
