Farnesina[edit]

The article says the ministry is "also known as the Farnesina", but that is only true in Italian ("la Farnesina") - in English and other languages this name is meaningless, just like "the Viminale" for the Italian Ministry of the Interior would be (and the English Wikipedia article on that ministry does not say it is "also known as the Viminale". "La Farnesina" can only be translated as "the Italian/Italy's foreign ministry" or "Italy's/the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs". By the same token, the British and American metonyms "Whitehall" and "Foggy Bottom" would be meaningless in Italian or any language other than English (with the possible exception of Canadian French).213.127.210.95 (talk) 18:04, 9 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
