What is this guy on about?[edit]

This article is a good example of abusing the idea behind Wikipedia. The only thing that seems reasonably accurate is the naming of the peninsula and the fact that the Miramar Rangers are located there. All references to the Edlins and the Los should be removed.

Re. above, I agree: especially baffling is the "sunset arm" part, where it says "Since then, Jackson has brought the Film Unit back to Miramar, which would now be seen as a sunset arm of his empire". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.19.109.156 (talk) 15:00, 25 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Edlin's[edit]

Anyone who has lived in Miramar or played for the Rangers club will know of the Edlin family. They're bloody legends around here, and I think it's a bloody disgrace to come on here and start questioning their place in Miramar history. 219.88.42.56 06:32, 9 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Translation for "Te Motu Kairangi"[edit]

The translation provided for "Te Motu Kairangi" is "The Mountain eats the Sky". Is there a reference for this? I haven't known motu to be translated as mountain, but rather it means "island". Is there a reason this shouldn't be translated as island?
