Spontaneous abortion[edit]

Jytdog, Miscarriage is a synonym for spontaneous abortion. So yes, technically the topic is about abortion. If you are determined to delete content that I have contributed, the encyclopedia will suffer for it. This article is about grief and contains no clinical content...just like the main article on grief. Best Regards, Barbara (WVS)   00:57, 17 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

yep, miscarriage is a spontaneous abortion. not an induced one. if you say "abortion" people think the latter. mental health is about health. Jytdog (talk) 01:00, 17 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Epidemiology[edit]

The content in this section is a) not about epidemiology and b) not sourced per MEDRS. It wasn't defensible in the first place per MEDMOS or MEDRS. Jytdog (talk) 01:27, 17 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Miscarriage and grief[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Miscarriage and grief's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "one":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 21:56, 30 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Dear bot, your edits have not been helpful. Barbara (WVS)   05:52, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Referencing[edit]

Changing the shortened forms of the references creates problems in editing. I have to 'remember -ize' the new versions that are created while I am adding content. There is no reason to edit the shortened ref names and may be a waste of time since referencing bots come on by to add to the confusion. I typically shorten ref names to four characters. So if someone wants to purposefully slow down the process of article improvement, then go on in to change the ref names. Best Regards, Barbara (WVS)   05:52, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Factors in Grieving[edit]

The article provides information on types of grieving. Perhaps another section could be added to include different factors (demographic, community, etc.). Levkojen (talk) 01:14, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that this could be very helpful. Additionally, historical context could be helpful too. 71.190.112.192 (talk) 18:49, 27 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Lead section[edit]

I was going to do some work on the lead but now I am thinking that it needs considerable trimming. It is trying to explain a lot of stuff and actually ends up being jumbled and confusing. What do others think? Sectionworker (talk) 00:56, 13 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
