International broadcasters[edit]

Hi...

It's a lie that all International broadcasters covering the pageant. It's a fake info and without sources.

Please, delete it--Alex Duilius (talk) 05:38, 13 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

That is right, Australia doesn't air Miss America at all.Manhpham (talk) 05:53, 13 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It's possible that at the time these were added, the pageant was scheduled to air on those stations/networks, but ended up not being broadcasted for one reason or another in certain countries. I would contact the users who updated the section and find out where they got their sources from and to provide it if they don't contribute to the discussion here. Otherwise, deleting/removing the countries without "proof" is appropriate in my opinion (but not the entire section necessarily since some/many may be correct such as ESPN Radio although without verification). At the same time, sources claiming that it didn't air might be helpful as well. I noticed these are the users who contributed to the section with Cheetah255 creating the section originally ([1]) who may have all the appropriate references:
Cheetah255 ([2]) / 112.208.118.216 ([3]) / CAWylie ([4]) / Puertorriquenosoy ([5]) / Johnny421 ([6]). Have a great day! :) 99.129.112.89 (talk) 06:50, 13 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Miss America doesn't air in AFRICA, UK, VENEZUELA, etc. This is NOT the FIFA World Cup or Miss Universe and ESPN Radio never broadcasted the pageant...for one it was never PROMOTED on there and two its not even a SPORTING event, ESPN Radio's primary focus. Idk where people are getting this from. 71.58.55.146 (talk) 08:50, 13 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I think you should have waited for a "consensus" before blanking out the entire section as some entries may have been correct, but I have removed the ESPN Radio statement from the intro as well for now (as stations in some markets reported on the event yet didn't necessarily air the entire program), and until the contributing editors can source it or provide feedback to this discussion, it can stay omitted. Thanks! 99.129.112.89 (talk) 18:48, 13 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Judges[edit]

Since the article explicitly refers to the judges, can we get a list of who they were? I don't know if this is typically given in these sorts of articles, but it seems like a logical thing to add. - dcljr (talk) 06:55, 31 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I've added this info. - dcljr (talk) 23:54, 22 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
