– According to the official results website of the German Football Association, Fussball.de and the website of the Middle Rhine Football Association the official name of the league is Mittelrheinliga, not Oberliga Mittelrhein. Reliable sources like kicker confirm this. Calistemon (talk) 08:19, 20 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Calistemon: when did the name change? or has it always been this name? GiantSnowman 13:35, 22 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@GiantSnowman: I don't think the league ever changed away from the name Mittelrheinliga back in 2012 when it was elevated to Oberliga status after a league reform. It is just that an editor moved back in 2012 without consensus or providing a reference. Historically, it used to be the Verbandsliga Mittelrhein but I myself moved it to Mittelrheinliga in 2011 after consulting the Middle Rhine Football Association website. In that case support. GiantSnowman 14:40, 27 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
