Use experience on the moon[edit]
According to the National Geographic article following the Apollo 14 flight, tools bounced off the MET while it was being pulled. One astronaut walked behind to pick them up. I would imagine that the experience with the MET was instructive in the final design of the Lunar Rover, e.g., fasteners to hold tools in place, and perhaps mini-bags of tools in the descent module's storage bay to reduce the time taken to load up the Rover before driving it away from the landing site. Does anyone have any further information about experience with the MET guiding the Rover design? GBC (talk) 22:30, 7 April 2023 (UTC)
