Advertising or promotional material[edit]

This article is written in the style of a marketing piece selling the benefits of modular construction, rather than as a description of what modular construction is. Significant sections of the article ("Advantages", "Time", "Safety", "Sustainability") are non-standard wikipedia categories, and are written in a highly conversational, supportive tone. For example, under "Sustainability": "Modular construction is a great alternative to traditional construction when looking at the amount of waste each method produces".

The article also makes a large number of unreferenced assertions - for example, the entire "Cost" section contains numerous specific claims regarding cost savings against other construction techniques but only a single reference, regarding the relative transport cost of materials.

This article should either be completely overhauled to act as a descriptive article, or otherwise deleted and folded into one of several similar other pages on modular building - Modular building,Commercial modular construction, Prefabricated building, and so on. 118.209.85.212 (talk) 08:14, 21 December 2021 (UTC) Thomas M[reply]

Agreed, this is more like an advertising promotion than an encyclopaedia article. It should be much more factual and less opinionated. Boleslaw (talk) 01:51, 2 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
